Speakers Cyber Cyber Acoustics 4 Watt 2.0 Computer Speaker System - Black (CA-2014)

.. no matter what you pay, these are cheap-sounding speakers. No bass sound whatsoever, even after tweaking my sound card settings. They sound basically like what comes in a cheap radio.
My coworker's PC has a pair of JBL Pro speakers on her PC; maybe I got spoiled listening to her speakers, but it's amazing how thin the Cyber Acoustics speakers sound compared to the JBL. I'm going to return these. Since I'm not going to be happy with "cheap" speakers I decided to pay a little more and get a different brand of speakers that are slightly higher priced (and better reviewed).
One good thing I can say, is there doesn't seem to be much distortion with the Cyber Acoustics. Also the headphone jack on the front is convenient. And as other reviews of C.A. speakers have pointed out, the blue light on the front IS cool!

Speakers Cyber Cyber Acoustics CA-2988 USB Powered Speaker - Portable Design

I am a business traveler who wanted something better than laptop speakers, compact and easy to travel with, and cheap enough to replace when/if I dump my coffee on them, they get crushed in transport, or swiped by housekeeping. These speakers fit those guidelines perfectly, and so far have met my expectations. The sound quality is better than average compared to other entry level speakers, and I like the simplicity of the design. Keep in mind this is not a high fidelity pair of speakers, so do not expect to be blown away.

**Quick Update***
Hooked my computer to the TV to watch a movie the other night and didn't think much about running the sound through these speakers as opposed to the speakers on the TV. The sound was much clearer than I expected. The dialog was clear and easy to understand and the sound did not cause the distortion I would expect from a small speakers. Very pleasantly surprised.

Finally found what I was looking for! The Cyber Acoustics 3 pc has AMAZING sound for the price range! When it comes to sound I'm pretty picky. The sub-woofer is perfect. Speakers look nice. Sound is full and has volume. I'm sure if you buy a system for $150 or more it will sound better (I would hope so) ....but this is not $150 this is only $39 and would have paid more.

Keep in mind that the volume on your output source, equalizer settings, sound card, programs you may or may not have that improve the sound quality will effect your speakers performance. Don't forget to tweak all that... (I use the program "hear" for my mac)

The desktop pod is great (Which has controls for your bass, speaker volume, aux jack, and headphone jack.)

I was an audio nut long before I was a computer nut and am rather particular about sound. I bought these speakers as a gift for a friend and set them up for her with her computer. At the price, I figured that they would be speakers that would "get her by" so that she could hear what was going on with her computer.

After the speakers were set up, I turned on some music through her onboard sound. I found the speakers to be quite a bit more than expected. They had crisp, clean highs that rival that of my more expensive Yamaha computer speakers. And the subwoofer produces a warm, tight bass that hangs in there even with the deep thump of todays music.

Though I'm a novice at audio equipment set up, I believe that I'd be safe to say that hooking these up would be easy for anyone. Everything is clearly marked.

These speakers have been being used for 3-4 weeks now, and there have been no issues. I would highly recommend these speakers, especially at their price.

One last note, I have been able to personally compare these speakers to, as previously mentioned, Yamaha computer speakers and Creative Sound Labs speakers as well. My opinion is that these sound the best.

Speakers Cyber Cyber Acoustics CA-2880 USB Powered Speaker Portable Design - Black

I have a cheap little insperion netbook with tiny, tinny, barely audible speakers. These little babies clip right on to the top of the netbook and produce a respectable (not loud, but does the trick) sound WITHOUT a separate power source. They're USB powered, which was the biggest selling point for me. I didn't want to compromise the uber-portability of a wee little laptop by plugging in a cumbersome cord or clumsily dragging along detached speakers.

It doesn't seem to make a dramatic difference in the battery life, but I'm sure there's some impact. There's a power switch, so if you don't need sound, you can turn them off and not take power without having to detach/unplug them.

The sound isn't going to blow anyone away, but it's perfect to use outside or in the kitchen (plenty audible over the fan/fridge/dehumidifier), or around the house. Now I can watch a netflix movie or hulu show or listen to pandora or npr anywhere in the house without any trouble. And the price was dandy. Yay!

Speakers Cyber Cyber Acoustic CA 3080 2.1 Powered Speaker System

I see that a few people have whined and moaned about the sound quality of these sub-$30 speakers.

I dunno. Maybe these same people pitch a fit when their .99 cheesburger isn't as good as the $10 they can have in a real restaurant.

The bottom line is that price is the ultimate consideration here. I purchased these speakers primarily to use for mp3's before I burn them in order to conserve HDD space. At apartment-style noise levels, these speakers provide reasonably crisp detail and enough bass to let you know that it's there. If the bass sounds cloudy, or 'muddy,' either turn it down using your EQ or the straight-shooting knob on the speaker itself- or, spend more money on a sophisticated set designed for self-proclaimed audiophiles.

I happened to be in Radio Shack grabbing some cables for my real stereo and happened upon these for $29. They look sleek on either side of my laptop, are a cinch to connect, and, with said tweaks, they sound very, very good for THIRTY DOLLARS! To a less discerning audience, they can fill in for an actual stereo system. For my uses - and I'm assuming the use of anyone unwilling to spend more than a few dollars for speakers - this unit goes above and beyond the price point.

What's truly sad is that I'm bored enough to have written this... :)

I must say that initially I was a bit apprehensive about a speaker system that costs under $60.00. I figured there's no way that anything so inexpensive could possibly sound as good as the reviews stated. Well, my words have officially be EATEN because this little unassuming speaker system ROCKS!!!

The finish is high quality, the cables are good quality and the volume control is very handy with an on/off, a blue LED light, aux input, headphone output and a separate volume control for the sub which is very handy.

I'm a DJ of over 30 yrs and I'm very familiar with audio and I can tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is not a good little system, its GREAT!!! The highs are sharp and precise, the midrange is strong and the bass is deep and tight, VERY IMPRESSIVE! I listen to a variety of genre's, everything from classic jazz to R&B and classic Hip Hop and these speakers handle it all well.

Again I say if you're on the fence about this purchase, get off the fence and BUY THIS NOW!!! You won't be disappointed. Great job amazon and Cyber Acoustics!

From the first note, I was pleasantly surprised. The balance is terrific. The bass is loud and clear. You can hear the distinct layers (bottom to top) of the different sound ranges. Did not expect that from quality as the price was very reasonable. The speakers looks stylish, which is an added bonus. Sounds great, looks great, price is right. I have no complaints. We will order more and replace the speakers we have.

I recently returned the Logitec Z240 which was crap. The bass is a joke and sound was flat. If $40 is your budget look no further go with this! It's terrific for music, streaming Netflix, dvd's ect..

This is the first time I have ever bothered to review a product, but am so pleased with this particular product I thought I'd share.
